Throughout her career, Angie has worked with some of the most respected marketing agencies, collaborating on projects for major brands such as Cisco, the American Heart Association, McAfee, NC Farm Bureau, and Duke University. It was her time at Duke that led to a pivotal partnership with Mike, which eventually led to her nearly decade-long tenure at AOC Connect. Her work at Duke was foundational in shaping her understanding of the unique needs within academic institutions, particularly in healthcare and orthopaedics, and laid the groundwork for her pivotal role in the development of AOC Connect’s digital community.
As Chief Web Officer and Creative Director, Angie has been central to the creation and expansion of AOC Connect’s online presence, including the development of its digital community—the largest online academic orthopaedic community in the United States. This community connects an elite network of academic orthopaedic professionals, spanning over 200 university-based orthopaedic departments, as well as more than 100 health systems and private practices. Through Angie’s leadership, AOC Connect has grown into a vital platform for collaboration, communication, and the sharing of best practices within the orthopaedic community.
